Online vote: true/false or agree/disagree
Sometimes you just want a clear answer. With Live Vote your group holds an online vote on two options, and everyone immediately sees how the group feels: ‘true or false’, ‘agree or disagree’, or your own choice such as ‘pizza or fries’.
Participants vote with a code on their phone, and afterwards you reveal the correct answer. Use it as a statement to open a discussion, to make a quick decision in a meeting, or to finally settle what’s for dinner tonight.
Make every lesson, training or presentation interactive.
Your group takes part live on their own phones, without an app and without an account.

Frequently asked questions
Is Live Vote free?
Yes. You open the tool straight in your browser, with no account and nothing to install, and participants don’t need an app. With a subscription you save it in a presentation, together with the other tools you use.
How do you use it in the classroom?
Put a statement to the class and let everyone choose: true or false. Because students vote on their own phone, everyone makes their own choice rather than copying their neighbour. Then reveal the correct answer, or ask a few students from both camps why they chose as they did. That way a simple question becomes the start of a conversation.
How do you use it in a meeting or training?
Use agree or disagree to quickly gauge how the group feels about a proposal before the discussion starts. Everyone votes at the same time, so the first speaker doesn’t set the direction. You see at a glance whether there’s support, or whether there are still objections to discuss before you make a decision.
How do you use it at a party or event?
Ask fun questions about the birthday person or the newlyweds with two choices of your own, such as ‘Tea or coffee?’. Add a photo to make it extra fun. Guests vote from their phone, and the bars grow live on the big screen. A short, light-hearted break that gets the whole room involved, young and old.
Which choices can I give?
Always two. You pick one of the fixed pairs, ‘True / False’ or ‘Agree / Disagree’, or type two answers of your own of up to 13 characters, such as ‘Tea’ and ‘Coffee’. That way the question always fits what you want to know.
What’s the difference with the Live Poll?
Live Vote always has exactly two text choices, and you can mark which of the two is correct. The Live Poll works with icons and up to ten choices, and measures what the group thinks without a right or wrong answer.
Can I reveal the correct answer?
Yes. You mark which answer is right, and reveal it with one click once everyone has voted. Handy for a statement that’s true or false, or for a quiz question with two possible answers.
Can I add an image or video?
Yes. When setting up the question you choose an image or a video. That way you ask a question about a photo, a chart or a clip, and participants vote on what they see.
How do participants vote?
Participants go to livecloud.online/join and enter the code shown on the screen. On their phone they tap one of the two choices, and their vote appears in the chart on the board right away.
