Frequently asked questions
Is the Multiple Choice tool free?
Yes. You open it straight in your browser, with no account and nothing to install, and participants don’t need an app. With a subscription you save your questions in a presentation, together with the other tools you use.
How do you use it in the classroom?
At the end of the lesson, check whether the material has stuck. Type a question with four answers, and students choose A, B, C or D on their phone. The chart immediately shows how the class voted. Then press the trophy to reveal the correct answer, and discuss why the other answers were wrong.
How do you use it in a meeting or training?
After an explanation, check whether the key points have landed, or start a training with a few questions to gauge prior knowledge. The chart shows no names, so even those who are unsure dare to choose. If half the group picks the wrong answer, you know exactly what to come back to.
How do you use it at a party or event?
Run a quiz about the newlyweds, the birthday person or the company that has something to celebrate. Add a photo or video, let guests choose from the answers, and then reveal the correct answer on the big screen. In a few minutes you have a quiz that involves the whole room, without paper or pens.
How many answers can I give?
Two to five. You choose in advance how many answers the question has; they get the letters A to E. You type the text for each answer on the board yourself.
How do I reveal the correct answer?
You mark for each answer whether it’s correct. Then press the button with the trophy: the correct answer turns green in the chart, and voting closes. That way you only reveal the answer once everyone has chosen.
Can I hide the results?
Yes. Hide the chart while participants vote, so nobody is swayed by what the others choose. Show it as soon as everyone has answered. Click a bar to switch between percentages and counts.
Can I add an image or video?
Yes. When setting up the question you choose an image or a video. It appears on the board together with the question, so you can also ask questions about a photo, a map or a clip.
How do participants join?
Participants go to livecloud.online/join and enter the code shown on the screen. On their phone, tablet or laptop they tap the letter of their answer. No account or app needed.
