Online photo wall: collect pictures from a group
With the PictureWall you build an online photo wall together: participants send in a photo and everything appears neatly side by side on your screen. You see what people mean instead of having them explain it.

What is a PictureWall?
A PictureWall is a digital noticeboard for photos. Participants send in an image from their own phone, and it appears live on the big screen next to everyone else’s submissions. That way you create a gallery of projects, results or memories in a few minutes.
How do you use it in the classroom?
After an assignment, have students post a photo of their project, experiment setup or worked solution on the PictureWall. All images appear side by side on the board, so you can look at and compare them together. Click a photo to show it large, and discuss what went well without having to walk past every desk.
How do you use it in a workshop or training?
After an exercise with flip charts, sketches or a construction, each group sends in a photo of the result. A gallery of everything that was made appears on the big screen, and you enlarge one to discuss together. That way everyone shares their work in a few minutes, even in a large room or when part of the group is joining remotely.
How do you use it at a party or event?
Let guests send in their best photos of the day from their phone. The wall fills up live on the big screen and becomes a shared photo album of the party, the wedding or the anniversary. With moderate first you look at every photo first, so only what you really want to see makes it onto the screen.
Is the PictureWall free?
No. The PictureWall is a pro tool and comes with a Silver or Gold subscription. Participants don’t need anything: they join via livecloud.online/join, with no account and no app. If you’d like to start with a wall for free, begin with the Live Wall for text messages.
Can participants post text too?
On the PictureWall participants only send in images. If you want them to send a photo and an explanation in one message, use the CombiWall. For text-only messages there’s the Live Wall.
Can I check photos first?
Yes. With moderate first an image only appears on the wall once you approve it in the moderation panel, where you see every photo as a thumbnail. An image that’s already on the wall can be removed with one click.
Can participants like each other’s photos?
No. Likes only work with text messages, so the option isn’t available on the PictureWall. If you want the group to respond to each other’s work, enlarge a photo on the screen and discuss it together, or choose the CombiWall, where messages with text can get likes.
Can I save the photos?
Yes. You download the wall as a PDF, JPG or PNG, and all submissions as a PDF or Excel file. The download of the wall includes all photos, even those out of view. Handy for a report, a newsletter or as a memory of the day.
