How do you use it in the classroom?
Paste your class list into the group maker and split it into groups of four with one click. Because chance decides, there’s no arguing about who sits with whom, and nobody is left over at the end. The list is remembered on this device, so next lesson you make new groups in a few seconds.
How do you use it in a workshop or training?
Let participants join with a code and add them all to the list in one go. Make breakout groups, and every participant sees on their own phone which group they’re in. That way you don’t have to read out names, and everyone knows straight away where to go.
How do you use it at home or in a club?
Make teams for a game night, a sports match or a quiz. Choose the number of teams or how many players go in each team, and let the Group Maker divide them. Don’t like the result? Just shuffle again.
How are the groups divided?
Randomly. You choose whether you want a fixed number of groups or a fixed group size, and the Group Maker assigns everyone. The groups get a letter: A, B, C, and so on.
Do I have to enter the names every time?
No. The names you type are remembered on the same device. If participants join with a code, you add them in one click.
Do participants see which group they’re in?
Yes. Anyone who joins with a code sees their own group on their phone. If you entered the names yourself, everyone sees all the groups.
Can I divide them again?
Yes. One click shuffles again, and with back you change the names or the number of groups.
